Jackson Vine is often slow to establish but usually grows quickly after it is. The first year it may or may not grow very much and the greenery may or may not die back- this does not necessarily mean that the tuber has gone bad. Jackson Vine MAY go ahead & grow vigorously the first year but as far as I know, it is unpredictable. (Juvenile growth may also be lighter in color & have a wider leaf.)

The Jackson Vine is priced on a combination of both the tuber size and the greenery.  Bare tubers are also available. Please keep in mind that there are no hard & fast rules when it comes to Jackson Vine.
